App Features & Best Practises:

Here are some details on the App’s Features & Functions, and some USER TIPS:

User Profile: This is your Boast resume!

First add your Profile image, fill our profile info, and Add up to 3 Categories (Creative Service Type or Brand/Business Type) and a location to your profile to optimize search potential!

• TIP- For your Profile 'Location' -(as we just launched) it's best to set your location to your closest / largest city, and you are always in-control of your location-sharing in App settings for privacy

• TIP- Location set to 'Allow Always' works best for accessing all features, but it's up to you!

Portfolio Gallery & Feed:

Add some ‘Portfolio’ Gallery posts to highlight your talents, skills, products, lifestyle, past/present campaigns, photo-shoots, brand imagery… 

• For Best Uploading: Set your photo access 'Allow All' Photos this works best for seamless uploading, and you can always update this in App settings! 

Portfolio Galleries & Post:

• For every portfolio post - You can post 1 to 12 photos and 1 video per gallery! Add tags for other users to visually summarize content, but they are not activated in search yet!

• Always mention source for any images and use only those you have the rights to use!

• To edit you Portfolio Galleries – you click on the edit icon under the Portfolio post on your user profile

• TIP- The first uploaded image in a 'Portfolio' gallery post is what hits the 'Portfolio' feed! 

Posting Projects & Projects Feed:

All ‘PROJECTS’ on Boast are any JOBS, GIGS, Activations, Collabs – ‘Anything’ you need done by a Creative, or want to be hired for by a fellow Creative or Brand!:

When posting a Project:

• You can post any ‘Project’ as either- Self- Promotion ‘Promoting your Skills/Services’ or To Hire ‘Seeking to Hire /Collab’

• You will always post the date of the 'Project' as the last date for applications!

• ALL Project posts are with horizontal images only- The first image uploaded is what is displayed in feed – you can post 1 to 8 images – Set to “Allow All’ Photos for seamless uploading

• Always mention source for any images and use only those you have the rights to use!

• TIP- To edit you Project – you click on the edit icon under the Project on your user profile

Discover Page & Map:

Discover MAP- Search for Projects (Jobs/Gigs/Collabs):

• You can search up to 3 Categories – Scroll to bottom of this page to view Project opportunities on the Map

TIP-Scroll above or below map or on edge of page for best page flow/viewing!

• The list of ‘Projects’ for your entered Location and selected Categories populates below Map

• Click on each listing to check them out and apply ~ if it aligns with you!

Discover Bar: (Found on Home Icon / Bar is above Projects and Portfolio Feeds):

• Here you can look-up any User’s Projects by Name, or Search for Creatives by Name

• TIP- This is an ‘Easy’ way to look up a connection or other user by Name!

Hashtags:

COMING SOON! Hashtags on Boast for Portfolio Gallery Posts are NOT fully activated yet - but you can still add tags as you like, as they give user’s a summary of your post -but tags are not searchable yet in Discover Bar! They are coming soon!

Message Center | Chat Function & Project Applications:

Chat Function & Direct Messages:

• Directly message any users, and you can also create group chat (great for Projects with many collaborators or just for your friends, and your own ‘Creative Group’)

 Project Applications:

• Found also in your Message Centre - Here is where you will find ‘Applicants’ for any of your Projects!

• You can click on the applicate to review their profile and send a message if they are a good fit – unlike LinkedIn other users won’t know when your ‘Viewing’ their profile

• You can delete applicants in Project Applications by swiping left and clean up your applicants lists for any Project or Past Projects
